We would like to thank all of the parents, players, and fans that donated to this year's annual Oregon Youth Basketball food drive for the Oregon/Brooklyn Food Pantry (http://obfp.org). This year's event raised over $4,500 in donations and over 3,500 food items were donated. We would also like to thank everyone who donated prizes for this year's event as over $1,200 in prizes were awarded.
It takes many volunteers to make this event happen but we would like to specifically call out Dan Reid and Dan Subach who do a great job of helping to organize this event each year.
Congratulations to Charlie Soule and Leah Koopman, both have been selected to participate in the 2016 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) State All-Star Games. This is a great, well deserved accolade for both Charlie and Leah.
The All-Star game will be held on June 18, 2016 at the Just-A-Game in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The most important part of the game is that ALL Proceeds will go directly to the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (known as the MACC Fund). This money will help in the fight against childhood cancer. All the players involved in this event need to raise $500.00 in order to participate.
If you would like to help Charlie and/or Leah with their fundraising, please visit their respective pages on the WBCA web site.
