NOVEMBER UPDATE AND INFORMATION
Hello Oregon Youth Basketball Parents and Guardians,
As stated in our prior communications, there are a lot of unknowns that still exist, but we would like to again share with everyone what we do know at this time. The lack of gym space or facility access, as well as current restrictions on indoor gatherings and events, make it not possible for us to safely provide our typical basketball opportunities at this time.
Since we are unable to offer our typical opportunities this winter, we plan to continue to explore possible options for future basketball opportunities. What those opportunities will consist of, and if they will be able to take place, will depend on numerous factors that are beyond our control. We hope to share more information regarding any potential opportunities in the coming months.
We are frustrated and saddened that our basketball programs will not be the same this year. However, we are committed to doing what we can to keep everyone active and involved throughout the winter. In the meantime, we are hoping to provide video content to be shared with our youth players that would allow them the option to practice and study basketball skills and drills on their own, at home, without the need for a hoop, and continue to work on basketball and stay active.
Please continue to check our website and our Facebook page for updates as well as the below links for relevant information.
Please stay safe.
